This is a full-tutored drawing/painting class. Appropriate for all levels, There is an instructor from whom you can get as much instruction as you want.
On the morning and evening classes, we have some still life and plaster casts from which you can choose for drawing.
On the afternoon classes we will have Japanese models posing for us. Please check the curriculum below.
You are welcome to attend one class or more where you could continue working on your drawing/painting.

This is a full-tutored sculpture class, aiming to deepen understanding of human anatomy. Appropriate for all levels, beginners to experienced. You would benefit a lot from sculpting for your drawing skill as well.
There is an instructor from whom you can get as much instruction as you want, so feel free to take one or more class, no matter how much you are confident in sculpting.

First half: 5 min. to 20 min. short poses
Latter half: 60 mins single long pose (20 min. x 3)

Model: Guatemalan woman (nude)

【Materials】
We sell materials at cost: sketchbook for 100 yen; good quality paper from 100 yen per piece; oil clay for 350 yen (for making a relief (half of head)) to 700 yen (for making a head); Relief board for 100 yen; mandrel for 500 or 1300 yen. Spatulas and knives are free to rent.
If you have your own materials, please bring yours.
If you wish to continue your sculpture, you can leave your materials in our atelier.

We will have a beautiful American model posing for us.
The same setup will be continued for three weeks. Six-hour long pose if you join three sessions, that is good to make a complete work of art. You are also welcome to join a session, or change a spot and draw from different angles.
All kinds of artists including oil painters and Japanese-style painters are welcome to join.

Half drawing of a piece' ーShared art with childrenー
'Half drawing of a piece' connects people regardless of age, nationality and location.
We visited local areas all over Japan, mainly Unnan, Shimane prefecture and Ishinomaki, Miyagi prefecture and had local children draw a half of a piece.
Why not draw the other half and complete the piece?
The completed artwork will be displayed at Laforet HARAJUKU.
After completing a piece, please draw a new piece of half, then we will bring it to a new area in Japan to have others complete the piece.
Some of the works have been drawn by Children with disabilities at Apple Jump (https://applefarm.co.jp/day-service) where they are preparing to get into a society and have work.
Your finished work of half would go back to Apple Jump to and we will have the talented artists there complete the work.
